Push your Quality Score in Google AdWords

Surely you have seen the small adverts on the top or right hand side of Googles results page. Maybe you even have already used Google Adwords to place an advert for your business right there. For each click on one of these adverts, you - meaning the business which has placed the ad - has to pay ("Pay Per Click")...  so far so good....

To achieve a high ranking in these sponsored link sections is also (apart from the amount of money you are willing to spend) depending on the quality of your advert. This is measured taking in account the quality of your adverts content and your chosen keywords.

The higher this score is, the higher your ad appears in the listings. Furthermore a high score can also reduce your costs per click.

But how to get a high quality score?

Here some of the factors we know about - of course google is constantly updating there algorithm.

First you should ensure that your adverts are optimised, which means its title, the keywords, display URL etc. It is also important your landing page's content matches to the search query, so that the information the user will find, is what they are looking for.
Also it is very useful to split up the keywords you use for certain adverts into more targeted groups or categories. Googles AdWords are highly targeted (compared to other marketing channels) as you can even select geographic regions, languages and time when your advert should appear.

A high quality score in Google AdWords will make your campaign more successful and lead to a higher ROI (Return on Investment).
