Microsoft versus Google
6. March 2007
Today, Microsoft is attacking Google on its "cavalier" approach to copyright. They are accusing the successfull search engine giant of exploiting books, music, films and television programmes without the authors consent.
Have a look at one of Google's projects - millions of books scanned and available online: (http://www.google.co.uk/books?hl=en).
In the eye of Microsoft Google is one of the “companies that create no content of their own, and make money solely on the back of other people’s content, are raking in billions through advertising and initial public offerings”.
Will we have a "battle of the titans"?
